Kids have to know what it means to go out and "Play". When we play we imagine and create the things that may not exist Yet, in the moments of Now.

I travelled to Baltimore, Maryland where designer Ontavia Roulette resided at the time. I can remember feeling unsure and anxious about this 2019 campaign shoot. It was a big thing for me continue to grow and present my skills in their best form while co-creating with a designer I very much "looked up to and respected as a fellow creative and artist". I didn't feel the comfort of Source guiding me, so I was sure I was not getting the best visuals, I felt I wasn't telling the story Ontavia spoke to me as I sat with her in her beautiful atelier, years ago, nor days ago.

I was nervous, it wasn't connecting.

So at the very end of the shoot at this particular location, I looked at "Wilson" who was in actuality model ___name____ of __location or agency__ and I saw the moment. I put down my Sony FS100 camera and began filming [linked below] in slow motion on my iPhone.

We must make room for the child in our hearts to fulfill their desires, so that the growth is experienced. Children must know what it means to go outside and play in the world. We learn to think, be, create, survive, strategize etc. all development stemming from childhood. Those children become adults with different energies and we must have the imagination and be aware of the energies we allow into our thoughts and our hearts. [WRITE MORE]
